I honestly think I should have reread the previous one before going into this one because there were just a couple of things that confused me. Also this one just felt like a bit of a filler.. Will definitely pick up the last one to see how the series ends, though, and I guess I'll do that closer to me reading this one (maybe I'll even pick the next one up this month).

I am really enjoying this series. The concept is something that I haven't read before, so it has been a fun ride. This volume moves the story forward and seems to be setting up quite a bit for the next volume. I am also really loving the art style for this series.

Side note: I am bummed that I accidentally saw someones review for vol. 3 that didn't have a spoiler tag on it, but I am hoping that I will still be able to enjoy the volume when I read it. While I am pretty sure most people will, at the very least, have a pretty good idea of the very last cliffhanger to this volume, it is still really irritating for someone to just put the answer in the first sentence or two of their review without a spoiler tag on it. So, beware of that if you go looking up volume 3.

I think the first volume I was definitely better. It felt so intense and I just loved the characters and plot development. I don't think this volume there was the same amount of suspense and it was a bit, well, predictable. There wasn't much interaction with the characters, I would say, that created a lot of tension. Over all I just wanted more. More feeling. I did enjoy the cliff hanger and am really pumped to read the last volume.
