My one and only issue was that it is too short, I would've loved to read more about the selection process from Maxon's eyes...or even just more glimpses into his thoughts over the years.

I really like Maxon tbh he's just a sweetheart and he really thinks and ponders about everything around him.

someone teach this man what to do when girls cry

¿Escuchan eso? Es el sonido de mi corazón derritiéndose. Dios, pero que cursi me he leído. Ew. Aunque... verdaderamente no importa: Me encanta Maxon <3

I loved Maxon in the start of the selection towards the end the uncertainty and the hole hallway scene with Celeste really disappointed me. But this is before that when he starts falling for America, and his point of view on the selection was an enjoyable read. I wish there was more of the selection in "The Prince".

3,5*⭐

4/5 stars Daphne was a bitch. Kinda manipulative. I think it's dramatic to say another woman when he didn't care about her. I loved having Maxon's POV for his and America's first and second meeting. I wish we had it more. Like a dual POV book.

Of course it was brilliant because Kiera Cass wrote it. I feel like it was a good insight into Maxon's head and I wish it was a full length book. Can't wait for the The One in two days!

Actual rating: 1.5*

i really enjoyed Maxon's perspective of the whole selection and how he liked America when was basically not sucking up to him.

this book was just so,, cute and made me laugh loads. it also reminded me how much i miss the selection, so it's time to reread it.

My favorite novella of the 4. Well, I haven't read the guard yet but it's about Aspen. He isn't exactly my favorite character.

again, this added absolutely nothing new to the table.

3.5 Sixth book finished for Bout of Books 15 & #TBRTakedown 3.0, January 2016. As seen on Caity Reads. I really enjoyed this novella! It was a fun, quick read and I liked reading from Maxon's perspective. This novella is told in chapters, and each chapter is a different event. There are a few set before The Selection takes place and a few set during The Selection. The downfall is, I don't feel like it really told me anything I didn't already know. There were maybe a few details that were hinted at in The Selection or things that I had guessed. Other than that, there really wasn't any new information. That being said, I did enjoy reading about how Maxon was feeling during some of the interactions from the first book and learning a little bit about him. If you're interested in reading from Prince Maxon's perspective, then I'd recommend you pick this up.

"The Prince: A Selection Novella" by Kiera Cass: Book Review Rating: 4.5 stars Okay so this novella was pretty cool. I actually thought this was Prince Clarkson at first and not Prince Maxon because I didn't really read the summary before reading so :))) But nonetheless, the novella was very insightful at giving Maxon's POV. It was cool to know that Maxon did have a lady friend haha but her accusations of Maxon made him question his morals, and that was cool. I guess 4.5 stars because I wanted more? And maybe because I thought it would actually show more of Maxon's life BEFORE the Selection. Though it was still cool to see Maxon's POV of his and America's first encounters :) I'm not sure if this novella will be very VERY relevant to the series but, as I said, it did show Maxon in a new light. I liked it :)

Dio li fa e poi li accoppia giusto? Sarà meglio passare a The Elite ;)
