Operação Impensável
Operation Unthinkable was the name of a plan of attack to the Soviet Union led by the then British Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, after the Second World War. According to historian Lia, this was the maneuver that started the Cold War, a 45-year conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union. Operation Unthinkable is also a plan for Lia to definitively find out what's wrong with her marriage to Tito. For her, the conflict lasts 43 harrowing days. For five years the couple lived what appeared to be a love story punctuated by spirited e-mails, many commented movies, and countless games of board games. But little by little marital peace is replaced by a climate of tension in which power relations are permeated with implicit threats. As in the Cold War, there is no declared warlike confrontation. Something seems about to explode. And in the case of Lia and Tito, the explosion really happens.
