definitely took some time to get me into this book. I wish verity would have been more involved in the actual story. The chapters she was in were great and had me on the edge of my seat. The manuscript was important for context, but after a while they got repetitive. (Iykyk) Which even the author acknowledged as the character reading it. 

The climax of the book was very underwhelming. 

The ending is absolutely not it, and honestly confusing. I wish the writer stuck with one shocking ending rather than one that leaves it up for interpretation.

This book had me in a literal chokehold from page one. I swear, I blinked and was suddenly 200 pages in. It’s dark, twisted, and just the right amount of creepy to make you question everything. Every chapter pulled me deeper into the chaos, and I couldn’t stop reading even when my brain was screaming “sleep.” Absolutely unhinged in the best way possible – Colleen Hoover really said “psychological warfare but make it art.”

The book that got me back into reading after so long! Wish I could give it 10 stars. Best ending ever!

It was one of the most gripping thriller. I loved it. It creeped me out a lot. I still remember I was in my hostel reading this at 3 a.m. and felt like someone was watching me from outside the window. It gave me chills many times. After reading the extra chapters, we get more of a glimpse of Jeremy's character. He is definitely twisted, so you wonder which was the truth?

I love a story that lets the main character be a bad guy, I also love a book that lets you make your own interpretations. Hoover shines when she lets the focus of her books be something other than a romance.

Starting to think something is really wrong with Colleen Hoover. The book was creative but insane. I was literally kept on my toes the whole time. This is the first thriller book I’ve read and it might just have gotten me into thrillers even though I’m still unsettled.

It was amazing. The writing was creepy and the plot in general was really interesting. Since it was my first time reading a physcological thriller, I got creeped out by the story and couldn't sleep at night. I gave it a 4.5 starts because even though the plot was good, the romance in the book was really bland and didn't have that spark. I was expecting a really good and creepy book and that is what I got. Colleen Hoover should write more phycological thriller books.

i felt absolutely panicked for at least 70% of this book. i do feel like she fell off a little bit and got too wordy towards the end.... but still a good enough read to finish in almost one sitting

Hoe Lowen op het einde niet bang is van Jeremy i don´t know. Misschien omdat ze de autobiografie meer geloofde dan de handgeschreven brief.
