i hate to admit this but i love this book. im so SO sorry

ronan !!! best of the series

I NEED more from her

look around

** spoiler alert ** Okay, let me just begin with I thought I would NEVER finish this book. I put it in my DNF shelf a good 2-3 weeks ago because I felt no connection with the characters. However, I did skip to the ending only to see that they did end up together. And after almost two months, I went through with it. It’s best to say this book had the best plot (or well-written) in comparison to the first two. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 (4.35) 🌶🌶🌶🌶/5 (4.5) I liked Mila’s personality, because for most, she’s pegged “innocent” through all of this. Yet she has this stubborn, sarcastic, and sassy attitude that really made me love her POVs and funny-ass monologues. I mean, come on. She got kidnapped and still refused to eat non-vegan meals. Moving on, Ronan is a very complex character, and I never actually figured out where to put him along the lines of villain or hero. I don’t see him as a morally-grey character as well. It made me more curious of hiw his character was written. He was a completely different person from Christian, and it compelled me to finish the story of where his character will go. Nevertheless, I would like to make a few points here: This part, I forgot what chapter it was: TW: Mention of Rape “U neye ovulyatsiya,” I explained. “Ona prakticheski iznasilovala menya.” She’s ovulating. She practically raped me.” - This quote made me feel slightly uncomfortable I had to put the book down for a few minutes at least. I am well aware that this is a dark romance novel, but it seems so wrong to mention “rape” especially as a joke. As someone who had a bad experience with an older man, it really got to me. I hope Danielle refrains from including any more rape or SA jokes in general her next book. ———- Nothing’s funnier than when Gianna and Kat were practically watching Mila and Nadia’s hair-pulling scene because they were even cheering Mila on it had me cracking up the entire time. “As much as I appreciate your honesty, cara,” Gianna said softly, “passive-aggressiveness gets the point across. It also makes us look like the better person in the end.” “What’s passiveagressivness?” “Sweetie, it’s been going on for the past few minutes. Pay attention.” “Okay.” - THIS. OKAY PLEASE I ADORED GIANNA MORE THAN EVER. _____ “Mamma isn’t fat!” Kat yelled before anyone else could get a word in. “She’s growing my brother. And you’re rude!” “Kat, what did I tell you?” Gianna chided with a small smile. The little girl’s scowl at Nadia faded, then she mimicked the feigned look of pity she’d observed countless times this morning. “I’m sure you’re only so rude because of lots of past ’motional trauma.” Then she added, “No offense, of course.” - Kat will be a jawdropper or a jawbreaker indeed very soon. (Canonically, these were Mila’s words, so they’re definitely not mine, but I do agree.) _____ “You think I cannot keep him?” she asked derisively. “Mamma,” Kat whispered, “is this passiveagressivness?” “No, cara, this is just aggressiveness. Now, be quiet and pass me a pancake.” - This had me cracking up so hard. The tension was so thick and these two were enjoying the drama. ———— A lot of readers have been implying that Ronan and Mila somehow lacked a bit of spark or chemistry. Maybe because this was such a frustrating slowburn their real feelings never really came through until mostly halfway through the book so I completely understand. But Chapter 52 LITERALLY MADE UP FOR IT BECAUSE IT WAS SO SWEET. I’ll admittedly say that Ronan is still my least favorite Made Man because he really was so much worse than his Christian (if he doesn’t go to therapy because he’s obssessed with me, then I don’t want him) OR Nico in general (dude here was extremely petty it was so fucking funny), but it was who we was (with the trauma and all). Safe to say this book was much more graphic that I think it will give me a bit of a nightmare (which doesn’t make sense because I’ve watched Game of Thrones and watched beheadings and guts falling out with a straight face eating lunch.)

5/5 august 2023 I think rereading this book will be my new annual tradition. may 2022 *taps a mic* I LOVE THIS BOOOKKKK november 2021 Ronan my fruit loops lover, funny, sarcastic Russian, and Mila my yellow, sunshine girl, I will always love you.

#dnf at 27%… why did this take such a sharp turn compared to the other books/love interests . this man is crazy there’s so redeeming him😭 idc i ain’t reading this stockholm shit anymore

"You would survive without me. You would move on." His tone roughened. "I can't imagine a world where you and all your fucking yellow doesn't exist. So if you die, you'll take me with you. Your sacrifice would mean nothing, kotyonok. NOTHING." my god, i loved them so much

Nico & Christian >> Ronan still love him though

disclaimer; la aurora es racista y no apoyo sus obras. Este libro es mil veces mejor que el primero pero es muy insta love, literal la chica ya está diciendo que esta enamorada de él en los primeros capítulos...

4.5 this was probably my fav book in the series PLOT WISE cuz it actually had one💀 the ending of part 1 had me flabbergasted. also mila and ronan are HILARIOUSSSS and every time christian, gianna and bb kat were mentioned, i was screaming ong. THE CANDYCRUSH PARTS HAD ME SOBBING LIKE, PLS. and the fight with nadia LMAOÖO BYE

I felt a little bit loss reading it, but once I caught on it, it was pretty good. It follows that dark romance we're used to with Danielle Lori, and also, we get to read a bit of Gianna (who I absolutely love)

This book wa perfectly fine until the guy switched up suddenly and was a sociopath and was really annoying. He treated he as a pet he's sick like wtf. Worst book of the series.

Really liked this one! Very cat-and-mouse vibes. Dark so read TWs.

Honestly and truly, I am a bit conflicted when it comes to this book. I also, alongside Mila, was bamboozled by Ronan’s sudden shift to being a sociopath. I mean the guy was being so sweet towards her in the beginning and then BOOM. A literal sociopath. I guess I was also being a little naïve and gullible as Mila was. I was in shock, even though I don't know why I mean I've read the other first two books. I think I found Ronan a bit too intense (even though he had a lot of sweet moments, especially towards the end of the book), and I found Mila at times aggravating as a character, with all her begging and her want and desire for Ronan always seeming to override any common sense or her self-respect and dignity. Also, I am NOT a huge fan of age gap romance books and when I found out the age gap between Mila and Ronan, I insistently felt weird about their relationship and dynamic. Like 12 years!! Why in the hell is a 32 year old getting involved with a 20 year old? Like she was basically a teenager a minute ago. I think this book is my least favourite in series, unfortunately.

I don't know if it was because I watched some films from the 60s moments before I started the book but the beginning was nothing like I expected. I skipped the second book (I know it's the best for everyone but I just couldn't read it haha) but the first was not like this at all. It had old movie vibes and I could basically see the scene in black and white with a frightened girl on the street in my head lmao It was a bit ridiculous and didn't rope me in at all🙃
I kept reading because I had the strong belief it would change to the writing style from the first book. It in fact did not.
A mafia book without violence wouldn't be good but that doesn't mean I want to ever read about the love interest hitting the fmc. I won't ship her with an abuser so Ronan lost his chance the first time I read his POV. If I didn't hate him before I certainly did after he attempted to rape her. I was shocked to my core. It makes no difference to me that he stopped it after she dissociated, he sexually assulted her and therefore can rot in hell next to Zade. Don't even get me started on him forcing her to be naked and exposed. And if all of this wasn't enough, he used the one nickname (pet) I will never ever like because it's degrading and sick and disgusting. He's a pervert. If a woman tells you she's a virgin, you believe her, asshole.
The first book is one of three mafia books I gave 5 stars so I never thought she would write something like this. The differences between the two stories are insane. Not only in writing style but in morals and I don't like it at all.
As I said, I didn't read about the second couple but I was never so relieved to see her as when she found Mila naked and tied up. It made me giggle that even Mila in her situation noticed that Christian was the most handsome man on earth haha
Mila was the cutest person ever before she got dragged into this shit so I'm a little bit sad this book started at all tbh She would've been so happy if dhe stayed in America and found someone other than this Carter dude.
Forget about Ronan I was living for her and Albert's interactions lmao Albert would've made a much better love interest (and he was taller👀)
The most ironic thing in this book was that she asked him if he tried to stockholm syndrom her and after he said nothing to deny or confirm it she just thought he wouldn't do that💀 Guess what, he did. At least they both kind of admitted it in the end.

I don't know to were to begin with this book... I liked Mila and the concept that she goes to Russia to find out more about her family. But it all went down hill from there. I couldn't get passed how he was in the beginning and it irked me thought the rest of the book. He got better and if I would have ignored how he was in the beginning he was ok but nothing even close to Nico or Christian. The best part of the book had nothing to do with Mila or Ronan, without spoiling I liked when he had some visitors the most. So safe to say I did not like this book and would not recommend it or read it again.

Christian is my favorite but Ronan is a close second

mhhh perfect.

yall must be insane for liking this

4.5/5 ☆

The first 2 books are better but i love itt..

the girls that get it get it the girls that don’t don’t

Ronan. Ronan. RONAN! Omg that man is something else. He was not a good guy (hence the nickname “devil”). But my god was he attractive. I loved this so much. Mila and Ronan have my entire heart. Honestly will never forget them. Probably my favourite of the Made Series. I’m obsessed.

“Be quiet,” he snapped. “This is my monologue.”
I'm not gonna talk about that in my monologue

But I refused to die in Gucci.

‘I’d follow this man to the fiery gates of hell if he just held my hand.’

‘Gen-Zs wouldn’t know romance if it hit them with a bus.’

Albert cut in. "I've read new prosthetic hands can even play rock, paper, scissors." "Rock, paper, pliers," I corrected, pulling my gaze to Albert. "They can't scissor yet." "There must not be a woman on that team then," Albert returned with amusement.

The devil is and alway has been a gentleman.

"Even Dyadya says he's vegan because he puts vegan butter on his steak."

I'd like to think my interest in Mila was just about her body, but I'd never talked to a woman as much as I did her without experiencing the pull of suicidal boredom.

Karma could have given me something easier to deal with - like an impending atom bomb or nuclear disaster. But no, the comeuppance karma had dealt me with was feelings. What a cunt.

"You'll never aks me for more than I can give." ... "I've already taken everything you have to give."

Gen-Z's wouldn't know romance if it hit them with a bus.

“He stared at me with a mixture of disbelief, anger, and something else indiscernible. “You don’t get to sacrifice yourself for me.” He clenched his teeth. “You DON’T get to die for me, kotyonok.” His eyes crucified me. “If anyone dies between us, it will be ME. Do you understand?

“I found another weakness. He was weak for me.”

“Um . . . two,” I said unsteadily. “Two have touched me . . . that way.” He made a rough noise. “Dvoye mertvetsov.” Two dead men. I frowned. “I’m not going to tell you stuff if you’re going to kill people because of it.” Odd I needed to make that clear . . . but that was where I was. His eyes darkened. “Was one of them Ivan?” “No.” The look in his gaze cooled. “Fine. They can live.”

“I have faith in you,” I told him. “But be careful. One of them might end up meaning something to you.” The words seared like acid on my tongue.
He watched me for a second. “Ya dumayu uzhe slishkom pozdno dlya etogo.” I didn’t know what he’d said, but the significance of his voice made my throat thick. The words felt . . . oddly touching in a way, even while he was manipulating me to submit by use of sexual torture.”
I think its too late for that

“I knew. That was the problem. The knowledge had forced me to apologize and feel all sorts of awkward things. I’d wanted her body. But now, I wanted her loyalty even more. “I know, kotyonok. Now, go to sleep.”
