AMAZING

I think somethings wrong with me because I’m attracted to a blonde guy

My favourite book of the series so far I will be doing a review. ❤️

3.5 ⭐️. I think Dean and Allie are now my Off-Campus ship of choice! I’m not always in for light reads with mediocre plot, but all things aside, it was extremely fun. They’re very adventurous and it really rubs off on you. They’re completely opposite people who lived completely different lives at the beginning, and it made me want to know what’s in store for their story, rather than being casual friends who fool around under the sheets. I’ll admit, I wasn’t really in favor of Dean at first, with him being a manwhore and all, but his character development was pretty neat. He developed a sense of responsibility and finally knew how to navigate his way through adulthood. As for Allie, I was glad to see her taking a break and just worked her way from being being co-dependent on a partner, to being an independent woman. This book taught me how important growth is, especially when you’re in a relationship. Aside from that, it gave me more insight as to how managing grief can be very difficult for some people and how it important it is to have someone by your side through it all.

Mais uma vez, esta série surpeendeu-me e aquilo que deveria ser uma história básica acabou por envolver-me totalmente e eu não consegui parar de ler!

This might arguably be my favorite book from the Off-Campus series. Dean is far from perfect but I found him so charming, for some absurd reason. Meanwhile, Allie is a perfect mix of sensitive and strong-willed. The ending did feel rushed and out of nowhere. Though the relationship Dean and Allie build together makes up for it, for me personally. Honestly, this was so cliche and cheesy but I ate it all up and loved it. I've said it once and I'll say it again: Elle Kennedy knows how to write your favorite guilty pleasure read. And this one is at the top of my list.

Dean is superior.

I’m a sucker for nick names, so the second Dean called her AlliCat I knew I was going to love this book. I’m not sure I have loved a “player with a heart of gold” story more. From the pink ice skates to the every end I loved this story. A MUST read!

the dialogue was so weird sometimes like what 😭 “baby doll” NO NO NO

Such a sweet book. Had some surprising turns but I loved it.

i think dean is a really close second with graham for me

The Score: 2/5 I. CANT. STOP. READING. THESE. BOOKS. I have to say, I liked this one less than the previous two, but I still ate it up. Once again, it's trash, but it's my trash.

this was my favorite out of the books ✨

allie can i pls be your gf i am on my knees actual ranking: 4.23 subjective: 75 plot: 75 writing/dialogue: 90 worldbuilding: 90 character development: 100 character relationships: 90 toxic relationships?: listen. dean can be an ass so kinda tokenized characters?: no world rules abused for plot?: no

I love menwhores

i can’t believe how much it broke me.
it was an amazing book as well, Dean was so loveable and i honestly fell head over heels for him. love language physical touch is so attractive. the spice was amazing!
the only thing that i didn’t like was the whole ex-boyfriend thing, just because it makes me sad seeing people loving someone so much and feeling hurt, regardless if he handled things amateurishly.
BUT, it had to have this plot twist afterwards and break my heart and then, it had to shred it to pieces after seeing him dealing with it in that way. i cried so much i can’t even tell you.
for this, i wish we could get more “good times” afterwards, just to let my heart heal.
it was so heartbreaking but at the same time such an amazing book. i couldn’t put it down and i’m not ready to move on to the next book ☹️ i literally couldn't sleep at night thinking about it and it was the first thing that came to my mind when i opened my eyes in the morning.

LITERALLY LOVED ALLIE AND DEAN. AND THE END OF THE BOOK..

OMFG.
I’m still blown away by how good it fucking was.
Dean is such a great character and I fell like in this book there was something else that gave it my 5-star-review, while the others stand only with a 4.5.
Loved everything about it. Really recommend this series so far!!!

Welcome to the 3rd Book in the Off Campus Series and I must admit that I’m loving being immersed into this universe and each book is a “easy” read. Being around these characters and seeing how with each book each character goes on a self-discovery journey and its lovely to be with them on this journey.
This time around, the story centres on Dean, the unapologetic member of the Hockey team. Dean has had it easy. He's good-looking, rich and doesn't lack for any female or male adulation. But Dean's life became a lot more interesting when Allie Hayes, Hannah's best friend, came to stay over at their house one night to avoid her ex-boyfriend who want to get back with her. Dean being Dean, he put on the moves on Allie despite warnings from Hannah and Garrett. Allie was unimpressed. She knows Dean's reputation and she doesn't want to be just another notch on her bedpost. She knows who she is: a girl who is prefers relationship over casual sex. And Dean is the epitome of casual. Besides, Allie just broke up with her on-and-off boyfriend of three years. But Dean was persistent, and he managed to convince Allie to ditch her no casual sex rule in favour of some hot rebound sexy times.
As I have come to love Elle Kennedy has done it again within the pages of this book, we get to see Dean and Allie fall for each other. It's so rare to read a book that shows the hero and heroine fall for one another in a series of moments instead of just being told that they are in love. There's no insta-love here. NONE. And I LOVED that because even though Dean and Allie were physically intimate with each other and are crazy attracted to each other, they didn't fall in love immediately. It took time for them to fully trust one another. But the moment they did, oh man, it was well worth the wait.
Once again, this book is not just about the romance, there are other layers to the story itself We see Dean change and grow as a character. We read about Allie deal with her limited career choices. We see the gang worry about life beyond college, about whether they're going to still be friends with each other or lose touch. Dean and Allie also had to deal with disappointments and tragedy.
I really can't find anything to complain about this book. I finished it with a huge smile on face because it met all my expectations, and I hope it will meet yours, too!

This was a wonderful sequel to The Deal (I skipped The Mistake, because I was gifted this book by my hubs!). Dean and Allie didn’t top Garrett and Hannah for me, but they are really close second. One thing I absolutely adored about this book was their fun, playfulness in the bedroom. It showcased Allie taking control on multiple occasions and they were very open about exploring kinks and toys. Their relationship starts as a rebound/fling. Dean is a total manwhore who completely reforms to be with her. I love love love that trope, so I was really invested. And Dean was a lot of fun who had a really sweet heart. There was some trauma in the past and something that happens toward the end of the book. Lots of alcohol and drug abuse that may be triggering. I liked how the trauma was handled, but the conflict was resolved relatively quickly. Allie’s dad was one of my favorite characters, the scenes with him were really comical!

Fun book, runs at the same time as book 4. I like Dean's character growth throughout
Highlights

For the first time in seven days, I feel a tiny flicker of hope. Hope that the emotional release he’d just experienced will ease some of his grief, lead him closer to the road of acceptance.
The worst thing about hope, though?
More often than not, it leads to disappointment.
oh no 🥺🥺

“I thought you said you didn’t want to salsa dance. And Dean Di Laurentis only does what he wants, remember?”
He shrugs. “I am doing what I want.”
My eyebrows knit together as I wait for him to clarify.
“I’m making you happy.”
Squish. That’s the noise my heart makes. Because it’s so fucking full of love it can no longer contain it all.
oh my God!!

regrets are for sissies, as my dad likes to say. Learn from your mistakes and move on.

Men. They can’t take one second to put the toilet seat down, but they have the time to program the ESPN theme song as their ringtone?
hahaha indeed.

she reaches over and pats my arm. "Stop being such a girl, Dean. I like you again." I choke down a laugh. "You do?"
sobbing i love them

Too bad my friends can't do the same. Garrett is convinced I'II do something to screw up the relationship and that itl end in a massive fireball that blows up in all our faces. Sometimes I wish he gave me more credit.
garret stop wth

“Because you also look at him like he hung the moon. And i get the sense he feels the same about you.”
they’re everything to me

DEAN IS ON THE ICE WHEN I ARRIVE AT THE SMALL ARENA ACROSS from Hastings Elementary. I always thought coaches sat on the sidelines and barked out orders, but he's in the middle of the rink, his attention fixed on one slight figure wearing pink skates. Pink? I thought the Hurricanes were a boys' league.
cmon allie boys can like pink too

We're both getting sweaty. Our slippery bodies move against each other in a perfect rhythm, one that makes me dizzy with excitement.
bro u just took a shower cmon.

"And do what you want," I echo. "I think I really like the Life of Dean." I think I really like you, I almost blurt out.

Yup, rich boy likes Tim McGraw. So sue me.
so real

Me: You + me = wild animal sex tonight?
dean.. cmon bro

“No?" "No. I think you've imprinted on this girl's pussy."
STFU OMG 😭

. "Hey, You know Twiligbt?" He blinks. "Excuse me?" "Twilight. The vampire book." His wary eyes study my face. "What about it?" "Okay, so you know how Bella's blood is extra special? Like how it gives Edward a raging boner every time he's around her?" "Are you fucking with me right now? I ignore that. "Do you think it happens in real life? Pheromones and all that crap. Is it a bullshit theory some horndog dreamed up so he could justify why he's attracted to his mother or some shit? Or is there actually a biological reason why we're drawn to certain people? Like goddamn Twiligbt. Edward wants her on a biological level, right?" Are you seriously dissecting Twilight right now?" God, I am.
there’s zero way he just said that. but real

"Subject change, " Beau orders. Now, before I start crying in my Sam Adams.
real

Come on, Little Dean, belp me out, I plead silently. Were talking fourgy here.
enough

*Wait," I blurt out before she can end the call. “What is it?” I stare at the rain that’s sliding down the windshield. Wondering what the hell is wrong with me. Then I lick my suddenly dry lips and say “I want to fuck you again.”
DEAN??

I'm reading on the couch. Under a blanket. Snug as a bug in a mug. Me: In a rug. Her: ?? Me: Snug as a bug in a RUG. That's how you say it. There's five whole seconds of radio silence, and then my phone rings in my hand. I'm grinning as I answer the call. "Why would the bug be in a rug?" she demands. I snort."Why would it be in a mug?" "Because that's a cozy place for it to be! If it's in a rug, someone might step on it." "Ifit's in a mug, someone might drink it." "Are we writing a bad Dr. Seuss book right now?"

What did he do?" Dean demands in a low voice. "And how bad of a beatdown does he deserve? Me and Garrett can handle our own in a fight, but if you want some bone-crushing, we can unleash Logan on him."
wow how nice
ps i love logan sm
