This was not a thriller book at all. I was so bored reading it, i could predict ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING that happened... If ur a romance person and want to explore new genres this probably is for u. If not, please pick a better book.

Almost DNF at 93% once Calvin started singing Amazing Grace. No, for real what was that about??? I knew how it was going to end within the first 25% of the book. There was no suspense at all!

The days were soooo slow with information that used a lot of descriptive words to take up more page space. Calvin’s eyes were described as “blue blue” so many times.

The only reason I gave it 2.5 stars is because I finished it and the ending where Grace or whatever the hell her name is talks about being your neighbor. That’s the only part that felt relatable to me. You really don’t know who your neighbors are and what they do. Could they be some psycho killer?

Overall, I would not recommend.

What the hell did I just read? Honestly the first 95% of this book feels like someone wrote this thinking they wanted to write a suspenseful romance, but had never read romance nor suspense before. The MC and FMC were both meh at best. The relationship between them was just weird the entire time. If you’re looking for a book of read flags 🚩🚩🚩 and someone dumb enough not to take them as a warning the first 95% of this book is for you! Along with some weird animal planet (real animals, not horny humans 😂) encounters and relationship dynamics that add nothing and also do not make any sense.

As for the last 5% of this book, I’m sorry, WHAT WAS THAT.

And I think I’m done here. Only giving two stars because I finished it and also have talked to quite a few people about it because I’m still in shock (2 weeks later).
