I really liked it, I simply wanted more. Sometimes it felt rushed when I simply wanted to savor. I read Julie Garwood due to the fact I know I am going to get a good story and this time was no different. I enjoyed Lyra and Sam's story. The eccentricities of Lyra's family was funny and sad. A hero that has an accent you say? You had me at accent. Sam and his Scottish brogue and entire alpha demeanor *faints*. I don't know what I am going to do when she has run out of Buchanans and their friends. If you are looking for a fast pace read then this book is for you.
