Reviews

The Constantine Boxset, "Billions," has three short stories by three different writers that tease us with a taste of the dark, twisted Constantine-Morelli universe. The first two books conclude on cliffhangers and form a trilogy. When it comes to romantic suspense, you can always count on the guys in your life to call the shots. A Stroke of Midnight. Despite the fact that Winston is an outright badass who isn't interested in getting close to anybody, there is a specific kind of kink that Winston enjoys. After he discovers a candy wrapper in his workspace, the man is determined to track out the offender. He was not prepared for the gorgeous Ash, who has no worries in the world other than obtaining the money she needs to attend school after her father took all of hers. To him, it's all about making her feel bad. She does it because he pays her to. They begin to develop feelings for one other, but he won't take it any further since he doesn't like relationships. This is the first book of a trilogy, and if you read it, you'll be compelled to read the second since the first leaves you hanging. Ruined Poppy has been tricked all her life. She was sold into getting married at a young age to a nasty, violent and aggressive older man who didn't love her. Ronan, is an Irish police officer who works for the Constantine family. People don't know who he is, and he is very dark and broody. In spite of how he watches her from across the room, they are drawn to each other. I can't wait to read the second book in this trilogy! Wicked Idol It's Iris and Keaton who you meet. Keaton has a girlfriend, yet him and Iris start to like each other right away. he keeps bumping into Iris, and they both want to have sex with each other so much that they do what they want. Things move quickly, and they run away together whenever they can. Both Iris and Keaton are trying to figure out the way through life with a lot of pressure from their families. Iris and Keaton are more like each other than they thought. Afterwards, you felt warm and happy because the HEA was so good.
