I received this as an ARC fro, NetGalley for an honest review. 

As a fan of the 80s cartoon I was pleasantly surprised with this rendition. While there are some differences the heart of Jem and the overall plot are similar, it's just been updated for a more modern audience. I will definitely continue to read the series!
