Fixing Him

Fixing Him

One summer. Three months.Ninety days spent learning every inch of Sam Matthews' body.We agreed to no strings when our time was up. We promised we could both handle this.I lied. I never expected to fall for this man or this town. This was just supposed to be a stop on the way to starting my real life. But now, time is up and everything feels wrong. He says I'm too young. He says I'm too innocent. He says he's not the type to settle down. He's fixing my newly inherited home. Now, I'm fixing his frame of mind.

Miranda Elaine really has a way with words! She had me sucked in right from the start and I loved Sam and Montana as soon as I read their first chapters. Fixing Her was a feelgood book and she created the same exact feeling in Fixing Him! Sam has gone through a lot and the last thing he's looking for is love, especially someone who is a bit younger than him. He's going after his dreams: a house and getting further in the business he's working at. Montana is more of a free spirit. She isn't one to settle down, even though she's looking for a job after finishing school. Staying at her grandfather's estate for the summer to get things done, was supposed to help this process along. It's clear from the start that Montana and Elaine have chemistry! It's funny reading about how they think of the other person. I knew when they'd try something with no strings attached it wouldn't work out that way! Miranda Elaine wrote another book with just enough laughter, romance and a little angst. On top of all that, I loved the little cameos from Fixing Her. I just love the little glimpses this author gave us of the previous characters. Miranda Elaine makes these characters feel real and you can't help but hope that they get a happily ever after! I know these books are standalones, but I could easily read a few more books about these two!
