Heir of Fire Throne of Glass #3
Reviews

Rowan is my favorite đ

Wow, the grip this book had on me!!! Damn

âAnd somewhere far and deep inside her, an ember began to glow.â
i adored how this book portrayed the journey of celaena finally facing her fears, embracing her magic, accepting her role as queen, and ultimately coming home to little aelin.
i also loved that aelin and rowan found their way back to the light together, starting their court aelin always dreamed of.
and donât forget my queen and king manon and aedion, whose introductions left me absolutely stunned.

âHold onâ the riders told the word.
Hold on.
Magnificent, Devastating and so so beautifully hopeful.

âThere were few sounds she enjoyed more than the groans of dying men, but the wind was one of them.â
Sarah J. Maas has done an incredible job with Heir of Fire, and this book has been my favourite in the series so far. The protagonist embarks on a journey that is not only physical but also deeply internal. Above all, such a journey can transform a person foreverâjust as it did for Celaena.
Sent to Wendlyn as the Kingâs Champion to assassinate the royal familyâthanks to Chaolâs misguided good intentionsâCelaena finds herself lost and powerless, unable even to consider carrying out her mission. Before this, the once formidable girl from Adarlan, who seemed so strong, made a blood oath, but soon after, she succumbs to grief and despair, losing herself completely. From that moment on, her journey becomes one of self-discovery and the struggle to rise againâif she can.
But this book isnât just about Celaena. It also introduces us to the Witch Clans and their long-awaited return to the skies, it takes us on a journey of Chaolâs painful reckoning with the consequences of his blind loyalty, and Dorianâs transformation from a mere princeling into a true king. Therefore it feels like a life itself even though it happens in a magical land with magical creatures. I canât wait to see what happens next!

Iconic!!!! Beginning was rough to get through but the last 40% was INSANE

this book is proof that you should find someone as dramatic as you are. match my dramatics or go home

super slowwww, which was a little frustrating due to the cliffhanger of book 2, but it ended GREAT. looking forward to the next one!!!

DORIAN BBY GET BEHIND ME! WEâRE GONNA FIND A WAY TO UNDOOM YOU

Screech

AMAZING

I did really enjoy it, but it took me a while to finish due to my life getting busy and its slow beginning. Definitely started to get super invested towards the middle as it started to pick up though.

good, long winded and took me awhile to get through but enjoyed it. plot is starting to come together now | fae, witches, wyverns | enemies to friends | if dorian doesnât end up with celaena iâm gonna lose it bc chaol is kind of a loser sometimes

could have been a lot shorter but good book nonetheless

I think the series starts to ramp up a lot in this book, will probably read the next 4 books in 2 weeks at this rate (also no romance in these ones soph)

It was amazing and I love Aelin's character development and the action in the book is just amazing. I feel like it was too long for me and a bit dragging but it was really good.

This book ended superbly. I wish the rest of it had been as enjoyable to read. The shifts in perspective made it oddly-paced and the boring parts were a STRUGGLE to get through. The whole will-they-won't-they with Rowan was agonizing, Chaol's and Dorian's parts were so dull until the finale, and Manon was just not interesting. On the whole, however, I'm loving how Calaena's/Aelin's character trajectory has progressed, I enjoyed seeing all the flashbacks into her deep past, and I'm looking forward to continuing the series.

best of the series so far

the first half almost made me go into a slump, but the second half?? CRAZYYY

This whole book could have been an email

Really liked the story development and the side plots.
I really enjoyed the story/world building around Manon and the thirteen and I'm really looking forward to seeing them later on in the series, but Dorian's story bored me a little tbh, but I'm still excited to learn what his powers will add to the whole story later on.
Loved Celaena's/Aelin's development in this book

the new character additions made this book tbh

Rowan Whitehorn the man that you are đ§ââď¸

Sometimes, though, her dreams were of a brown-eyed man in an empire across the sea. Sometimes she'd awaken and reach for the warm, male body beside hers, only to realize it was not the captain-that she would never again lie next to Chaol, not after what had happened. And when she remembered that, it sometimes hurt to breathe.

She lifted her face to the stars. She was Aelin Ashryver Galathynius, heir of two mighty bloodlines, protector of a once-glorious people, and Queen of Terrasen. She was Aelin Ashryver Galathyniusâand she would not be afraid.

âAs for Celaena, you do not have the right to wish she were not what she is. The only thing you have a right to do is decide whether you are her enemy or her friend.â

âYou cannot pick and choose what parts of her to loveâ
