The Anatomy of Curiosity
"In an unassuming corner of Brooklyn, a young woman learns to be ladylike, to love context, and to speak her mind from a very curious sort of tutor. In a faraway land convulsed by war, a young soldier hears the desert's curious hum as he disarms bombs with the person he doesn't know how to love. In a place so shriveled by drought that any drowning is a curiosity, a young writer tries again and again to tread water beneath the surface of a vast and unusual sea. Three new stories complete with commentary on the creative process from three acclaimed young adult authors working at the height of their powers."--Amazon.com.

4.5 I loved this! it took me forever to get through because there was so much to take in about writing and it was such a good way of conveying and learning information about the craft! I didn't love some stories or styles (they all have that 2010s dramatic YA narration style, except maybe Tessa) but that doesn't quite matter, and I definitely got a lot from this and want to reread it. I have taken off half a mark because I wish that they interjected more frequently, and had passages underlined. I wanted more meat and explanation. Tessa was my favourite, but she seemed to have the least to say, which was annoying because I loved what she did with her story. If anyone knows of any other books like this, I would love to read them.
