Uglies: Cutters (Graphic Novel)
Reviews

This review also appears on my blog in an Uglies series review here! 2018 re-read review: WOOOOOOOOOOW. I still love this as much as I did when I first read it a bajillion years ago. I get why others don't like it as much, though. There are definitely some things I've noticed now that I didn't notice when I was 11 that would usually take down the rating for me. However because I loved this so much as a kid, I can't for the heart of me rate it any less now. It's still my favorite. I still love it to pieces. I still wish it was a movie (mostly). I am (a little) glad it has stayed under the radar though because I kind of want to keep it all to myself. BUT FOUR NEW BOOKS IN SEPTEMBER Y'ALL!!! When I finish Extras I'm gonna post a huge series review on my blog and y'all better read it. ------------------ Original review: This book, man. I cannot tell you how much I love the Uglies series. It still is my favorite dystopian world, and while that's probably largely due to the fact that the rest of the world has yet to discover it, I would love it even if it became the next Twilight (most likely - okay, that's a little far). While not my favorite in the series (that special honor goes to Specials and even Extras), it picked me up and threw me into a world that it so complicated and intriguing I cannot stop thinking about it. It really puts into perspective how much our world is obsessed with image and perfection. (Also, my best friend and I called ourselves "Pretty Special Smokies" for the longest time.)
