I liked this book even more than the first and really appreciate how the author made the stories between the 1st and 2nd unique. You can read the second book without needing to depend on information from the first. The tension between FMC and MMC is soooo thick, cut only by humorous banter throughout. Would have been 5 stars but there were some plot points that could have been easily made thicker with more drama that would have enhanced the growing bond between the two characters.
