What can I say about this book? At first I really enjoyed Ellis' writing style and the *very* unlikable characters but when nothing had happened after about 150 pages I started feeling really annoyed. The book just seemed to be all about name-dropping, a never-ending list of long-lost TV celebrities and the like... Maybe I read this book 10 years too late? I don't know, the whole thing just felt outdated:( The truth is I simply couldn't finish it and never got to the "very violent" scenes I read about in other reviews...
