*Read for class. 3.5/5 This novella was unlike anything I've ever read by Turgenev and that's why I actually like it a lot! Not that I hate Turgenev, no, I actually really liked some of his novels and novellas. But I was getting tired of his writing style and his "ways". This one renewed my liking of him. I'm glad I've decided to read he whole thing and not just the short version for class.
