This could have been really excellent. The artwork is good, and the premise so interesting. But the addition of modern elements and language at very unexpected places just totally threw me out of the story again and again, and it wasn’t funny or clever, just incongruous and kind of nonsensical TBH. I mean I could have dealt with them playing D&D, but stuff like “why does it look like a midnight book release?” just makes me wonder if this is the final version, frankly. I’m really disappointed because I expected this to become a new favorite, and binge all available volumes. Instead it’s 3 stars for me, and I’m not going to continue this series 😕

This was so much fun! It had funny jokes, a good plot and excellent characters. I love female pirates and cannot wait to read more

I LOVED THIS SO MUCH. What’s not to love about a story about a group of kickass women with brilliant humour, wonderful characters and a fantastic plot?! My only issue with it is that it’s far too short, I WANT MORE. This was everything I didn’t know I need right now. I’m going to need the next issue asap. (R.I.P my bank account.)
