The Judge's List A Novel
Reviews

Almost as good and just as addictive as the first book (the Whistler) in the series. A bit graphic for me. Grisham scratches the itch nearly every time.

where was the twist, drama, suspense, or character development? 🥲

I have not read to many of John Grisham books, I don't think this one was as good as "The confession". I just couldn't bring myself to give this one a 4 star. I was excited by the plot angle of - a serial killer judge. I don't think Grisham was really able to pull it off or make it belieavable. There was some parts of this story I found totally implausible. Plus, I'm not even sure what Lacey really contributed to this story? Other then that she was there? The character that most shined in this story was Jeri, and Grisham could have polished her up more. There was parts in her story that he could have explained more. Along with the slow start, and slap dash ending- and the most unsatisfying ending ever. I was disapointed in this. I guess this is what I get for reading hyped up books.
