Reckless

Reckless

Adriana Locke ā€” 2021
"How did you get in here?" That's not what you want to hear when you're staring into the sea-green eyes of the hottest man you've ever seen. Yet I suppose it's a fair question, considering I'm an uninvited stranger standing in Boone Mason's kitchen. If you think that's bad-just wait. It gets worse. This charming and wealthy playboy, who can't pay his bills on time or find his way to the grocery store (but we all have flaws, right?), is sweet. Confident. Playful. He's almost perfect. And, to make matters worse ... He's smitten with me.I know what you're thinking. You're rolling your eyes. You're assuming this is some opposites attract situation-or that maybe we can be friends who turn into something more. How can this be a bad thing? Well, it's simple. I'm not the kind of girl you fall in love with. Just to be sure, the universe reminds me of that in an unforgettable, in-your-face kind of way. I might have broken into Boone's house, but I won't let him break my heart. I won't break his either. There's too much on the line to be that reckless.

Holy Boone swoone!!! I'm lowkey obsessed with Boone, an irresponsible man, turns into a love sap full of responsibility as soon as he meets her. šŸ˜ And (semi spoiler alert) Rosie?! That sweet little girl & the way she loves Boone, gah. And the dog, fluffy šŸ˜«, that made my heart happy !! Per usual, well written, funny, sweet and completely edible. I devoured this story twice! Soo, soo, good. Well done Mrs. Locke, well done

This book was so good, I wanted to read Booneā€™s story for a while and it didnā€™t disappoint, Boone was amazing and I loved how caring and funny he was. From book 1 Iā€™ve loved his banter with his brothers and how theyā€™re all close. Jaxi was a wonderful heroine too, she lived some difficult things in the past and it was hard to understand that she may deserve good things, but she met Boone at the perfect time. Their chemistry was there from the start and I loved their interactions, especially their moments with Rosie. I loved the story from the beginning, Boone was so easy to love and I really enjoyed how much he cared for Jaxi and Rosie, he had the biggest heart and meeting Jaxi was the perfect thing for both of them. Jaxi learned to accept things without giving back and that she was worth it. It was an amazing story and now Iā€™m dying to read more of the other 2 Mason brothers.
