Honestly I love this series so much I could cry

I still have no idea what Pretty Deadly is about, but volume 2 was a lot more comprehensible than the first. It's a story about war, death, and courage. It's exceedingly pretty as well, with incredibly detailed drawings that seem to draw a lot of inspiration from the fluidity of manga. Unfortunately, sometimes these amazing illustrations confuse the narrative. In any case, I am glad I took a risk on this second book as it was quite enjoyable. Even if the mythos remains completely opaque to me.
