Tokyo Dreaming
Reviews

This review has been sitting on a shelf while I sorted out my thoughts about Tokyo Dreaming. There will be some spoilers because I just don't know how to review it without. For those of you who don't want to be spoiled I will say this, if you are a fan of the first book Tokyo Ever After, then you will likely get pissed off by the start and general plot of this book. If you, like me, have never read the first book then the end of this book is likely going to make you flip a table like I did. The middle 70% was a really enjoyable read. I don't know how to accurately review this without spoiling the ending. I will say that up until the 80% mark, this book was a solid 4 stars. When it was done I wanted to give it zero stars but felt that wasn't fair to the majority of the book that I really enjoyed reading. If you want to just have a quick spoil, well (view spoiler)[the guy from the first book is the end game, but he is not in this book at all other than as bookends to a completely different story that he is not at all a part of(view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

I want to give this a 3.5 but they don’t do that kind of rating. It was really good and a nice follow up to the first but I didn’t love it as much. It took me awhile to really get into the story but all said and done, it wraps up everyone’s stories nicely.
