Well what do you know. I liked this better than the volume 3. Much better actually. It's a real page turner from one point and until the end. Jepperd, Gus and the others still trying to survive and the main plot here is to get to Alaska.. until they find a place called Evergreen which is a dam, that's been built by a team of people to survive an apocalypse like this. This team is gone. The only one there is a handicapped dude who lost his family to the whole thing years ago and now he's been living over there. He invited everyone in. Most of the group wants to stay, some want to continue their journey to reach Alaska. And lots of interesting things are happening... I won't say more, cuz it will spoil everything. It's a really nice read, and it's got your attention throughout the whole book. So if you think things are getting slow on volume 3, you're in for a better ride on this one. Hope the next one is as good as this one, or better. Solid artwork by Lemire once again!

The emotions, the character development... its just so good.
