I am a huge Lois Lowry fan, (The Giver being one of my all time favorite books) but, this one was odd. Very much a non-fiction, fictional story. It was pretty much just a fictional background story on historical people, but not well fleshed out. It was structured unlike anything l'd read before, so that was interesting. But not a keeper for me.
