Pride and Papercuts Inspired by Jane Austen's Pride and Papercuts
Reviews

this book is so good, i wasn’t sure at first but once the bickering really started i was hooked. the scene where their elbows touched was so good.

This was the perfect ending for the Bennett siblings. Each time I started a new book in this series I thought the hero was my favorite, but with this book I thought the same thing. I loved Liam and Jett, even though Liam had to earn my love throughout the book. But I loved Jett from the beginning, how he loves romance and how sad and heartbroken he was after what happened with Georgie. I just wanted to hug him and protect him. It’s supposed to be Liam and Laney’s story but it’s impossible not to love Jett and Georgie, they were so cute together and I suffered every time something went wrong. While reading I felt every emotion they had and that’s why I love Staci’s books so much. I ended up crying most of the time but there were a lot of funny moments too. This was an amazing retelling of Pride and Prejudice and Liam did a great job at portraying the original Mr. Darcy. “Why couldn’t I forget the way it felt to be held by him, why I felt safe in his arms when he was the most dangerous man I’d ever known?” The back and forth between Liam and Laney got me hooked up since the beginning, he may have been difficult and arrogant at the beginning but he definitely ends up growing on you. I loved how he cared about her sister and some of the banter with Laney (especially when they weren’t fighting). The final chapter was the best and I totally loved him by then. Besides, I always enjoy reading about the previous couples and I loved reading about the moments between the Bennett family and how they always had each other’s back despite disagreeing about some things. I also loved how her mom wanted the best for everyone even when she tried to set them up with everyone she could find. This was the perfect combination of drama, romance and heartbreak and I’m really happy I got the chance of reading these wonderful books, each of the Bennett brothers (and Laney) has a special quality that made me love them and I hope more people can read about these amazing characters and stories.
