| 2.5 ⭐ | TW: self-harm, suicidal thoughts The blurb really hook me and not only that, I love to learn more about Huntington Disease and Jewish. Unfortunately, I can't say the same to how the story unfold. I appreciate what the author intend to do, but the story executed poorly. However I like the message that I got from this book because that's how I feel at the moment.

A Book That's Published in 2018 ✔ 4.5 stars This book was always going to an emotional one to read, as you know one of them will test positive for Huntington's Diseases, and one won't. Both sisters have such promising futures: one a surgeon and one a professional violist, so you don't want either sister to test positive. The relationship between Adina and Tovah is already incredibly strained, and this experience increases the strain as each sister deals with the hand they've been given in completely different ways. I loved how this book was written from alternating perspectives of each twin, as well as the writing style itself. I felt as if the way Adina and Tovah dealt with their struggles and guilt was authentic, as well as how their already strained relationship was affected.
